By distilling design to its essence, they reconsider the rule of tailoring to celebrate a raw beauty.

From first sketch to last stitch, their collections are hand-touched and thoughtfully created. With a focus on beautiful detailing; luxurious natural fabrics and an inherent versatility – F L A T I R O N garments are designed so there is no one way to wear them.

Every piece is designed and handmade in Melbourne, Australia.

As an ECA accredited label, every piece of fabric used, its origins, and manufacturing process from pattern to completion - plus the fair working standards of the creative team who chart its evolution - is transparent and ethical.

Collections incorporate only repurposed stock fabric, organic and traceable natural fabrics. F L A T I R O N produce to demand, releasing regular small collection injections to achieve 100% sell-through and minimal waste and do not use plastic in delivery or warehousing and recycle all our hangers.
